Remember that tomorrow, Tuesday, May 21 is Election Day in Philadelphia! Make a plan to vote!

Today, May 6th, unions from all over the Commonwealth joined together in Harrisburg to save good union jobs in the nuclear industry.

The National Association of Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, which takes place every year on the second Saturday in May, is taking place this year on Saturday May 11th. All you need to do to participate is leave a bag of non-perishables at your doorstep and your letter carrier will collect it to be donated to a local food bank.

Over 31,000 members of the UFCW who work at over 240 Stop & Shop stores in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut have gone on strike after the company proposed completely unreasonable and drastic cuts to health care, take-home pay, and benefits.  We know these hard-working employees deserve better. It is their hard work and dedication to customer service that made Stop & Shop New England’s top grocery store and its parent company, Ahold Delhaize, more than $2 billion in profits last year. These workers need your help to win a fair contract.

On Wednesday, April 17th, join the International Labour Organization (ILO) for a panel discussion entitled "In Conditions of Freedom and Dignity: Decent Work for Tomorrow's Workers." This event follows a plenary session and panel discussions at the Temple University Fox School of Business earlier in the day, organized to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the ILO.

This Tax Day, April 15th, join APWU Local 89 for a rally to tell the public that the US Postal Service uses NO tax dollars to run, and that US Mail is Not For Sale!
