On Tuesday, November 20, 2018, Philadelphia Council AFL-CIO President Pat Eiding was named a Roving Ambassador for Peace by the World Peace Prize Awarding Council.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has met with the head of the largest U.S. labor group, the AFL-CIO.
