We are committed to fighting for all working people, union and not-yet-union alike. We have been proud to support several pieces of legislation that have impacted Philadelphia workers across workplaces and industries. Recent examples of legislation that the Philadelphia AFL-CIO has supported include the National Domestic Workers POWER Act, the Philly Black Worker Project’s All Due Respect Campaign, and Councilmembers Kendra Brooks and Rue Landau’s ICE Out Legislation.

Additionally, the Philadelphia Council AFL-CIO is proud of our ongoing support and advocacy for the Philadelphia Office of Worker Protections.  This is a vital city agency that is dedicated to protecting our city's workers. We are always advocating for more funding and staff for the agency to ensure our city’s workforce is protected.
