Union Experience Fairs

Since 2023, the Philadelphia Council AFL-CIO and our affiliate unions have connected with thousands of Philadelphia students at our transformative Union Experience Fairs. As college becomes less and less affordable and more and more students express hesitation about attending, we must introduce the next generation to the union difference and the power of the labor movement. Through hands-on demonstrations, classroom discussion, traditional career fairs, and more, we are able to share valuable information about registered union apprenticeship programs and other good-paying, family-sustaining union careers.
