Over 31,000 members of the UFCW who work at over 240 Stop & Shop stores in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut have gone on strike after the company proposed completely unreasonable and drastic cuts to health care, take-home pay, and benefits.  We know these hard-working employees deserve better. It is their hard work and dedication to customer service that made Stop & Shop New England’s top grocery store and its parent company, Ahold Delhaize, more than $2 billion in profits last year. These workers need your help to win a fair contract. Here are three ways you can help:

1)      Sign the petition.Show your support by signing this petition saying you stand with

Stop & Shop employees and support their fight for a better contract.

2)      Tweet at @StopandShop.Tell them to do the right thing and protect their workers’

       health care and benefits.

3)      Sign up for updates. Text “support” to 698329 to get the latest updates on the

strike and how you can continue to help.

Thank you for your support as these 31,000 members stand together for themselves

and their families .
