Support Olney Charter High School Teachers!

At Olney Charter High School, AFT-ACSE's Olney Charter High School Union is fighting for the education students deserve. Families want a stable school where teachers and staff can stay long term, and that means fair pay and benefits. Their students deserve small class sizes and programs that address their needs and prepare them for success after high school. Their employer has been slow to come to the bargaining table -- their union had been asking for bargaining dates for six months before they got them in September. Since then, they have been met with nine cancelled bargaining sessions and not a single counter proposal during the few sessions they had. These teachers deserve better. Their union is asking for the support of locals so that we can take a stand together for students, families, and staff at this neighborhood school which has been a staple of public education in Philadelphia for almost 90 years.
